Reason for Rehoming:
Lilly is an 8-year-old spayed female cat who gets along well with kids, dogs, and other cats, making her a wonderful addition to many types of homes.
Lilly’s family is sadly needing to rehome her after their son was recently tested and found to be severely allergic to cats. Because of this, they are hoping to find Lilly a loving home where she can continue to receive the care and affection she deserves.
Lilly has shared her home with her companion Tiger for the past eight years, and they have been together for most of their lives. Their owner would love for them to be adopted together if possible, as they are very familiar with one another and make great companions.
Lilly is ready to find a safe and loving home where she can continue to be a cherished member of the family.
Additional Comments:
Lilly can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but once she feels comfortable she becomes a very loving and affectionate companion. She gets along well with other cats, dogs, and children, though she may take a little time to warm up.
She especially loves to snuggle at bedtime and often chooses to sleep right next to her person—sometimes curled up near your head, tummy, or hips.
Unlike Tiger, Lilly is more comfortable indoors and tends to be a little nervous outside, so her family keeps her primarily as an indoor cat where she feels safe.
