Reason for Rehoming:
Izzy is my mom’s dog and she has recently had some pretty major health issues and is unable to care for Izzy. I am unable to take her in and keep her so I am hoping to find a home that will love her and take care of her. She is super sweet and a Velcro dog. She is used to being walked on a leash but pulls and will take off after a cat and my mom can’t walk her anymore.
Additional Comments:
Izzy is playful and loving. She has been with my mom most of her life and only recently has been staying with me and has been around my nieces and nephew. She loves to play catch and tug of war and loves belly rubs. Her favorite thing is to have her ears rubbed. She plays great with the kids but sometimes gets too rough. She is a great dog and is smart and very trainable. She would thrive with someone who has time to spend with her to train her. She is used to my mom always being home so there may be an adjustment if she is left alone for most of the day. If there was a way we could keep her, we would. We just want to see her go to a good home that will let her run and play and live her best life

She is an unknown mix of dog. I believe she has some Chow or German shepherd in her. She is a one person dog meaning she bonds with one person and is protective. She will sit herself in between her person and whoever is visiting. She is not aggressive. She will wiggle herself in between if you are hugging. She’s a jealous pup. She is reactive on a leash to other animals and passing cars. She just barks a ton and pulls. I have not had time to be able to work with her to fix this and my mom is not able to currently.
