Cosmo is a 3-year-old neutered male dog weighing about 25 lbs. He does well with dogs and cats, while his compatibility with children is currently unknown.
Cosmo’s family is unfortunately no longer able to keep him at their residence and is hoping to find him a home where he can continue to receive the care and attention he deserves.
Cosmo is described as a friendly and energetic dog who enjoys being active and spending time with both people and other animals.

Cosmo is a playful and affectionate dog who enjoys going for walks, playing with toys, tug-of-war, and learning to play fetch. He appears to be a Beagle/Terrier mix and loves to track scents, often exploring with his nose around the yard. Cosmo was originally found as a stray, and his family believes he may have been a lost hunting dog, though no previous owner was ever located. He has a very expressive personality, with different vocalizations—including a classic beagle-like bark and occasional howling. Cosmo enjoys the company of other animals and has stayed in boarding environments, where he has done well with other dogs and new people. He is currently used to being outdoors, but may be able to adjust to indoor living with time and consistency. A home with a secure fenced yard or larger property would be ideal. Cosmo also enjoys being close to his people and will happily sit in your lap if given the chance.
