Gender: Female | Breed: Black Lab Mix | Size: Large | Age: 1 year (DOB: 3/18/2024) Hello! My name is Cora, and I'm a fun-loving, energetic 1-year-old black lab mix with a heart full of joy. I’m on the lookout for my perfect forever home, where I can be the star of the show! Why You’ll Love Me: I'm always ready to play, whether it’s catching a ball, jumping for sticks, tug-of-war, or just running around. I'm super happy and will bring a lot of love to any home. I'm fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and on monthly heartworm prevention to keep me healthy and happy. A Bit About My Personality: I am affectionate, like to give kisses and it’s the cutest thing ever when I sit on my owner’s lap with my rear-end down and front paws on the floor, just as if I were a human. I am great with kids and love to play. I’m crate trained and sleep peacefully through the night. I love to run and play with the other dog in my house, and always try to snuggle with him. There is some tension when he barks at me though, so if you have dogs we should meet to see how we get along. I’ve never met a cat, so I’m not sure how I’d feel about them yet. Training & Skills: I already know some fun commands like ‘sit,’ ‘lay down,’ and ‘paw,’ and I’m very treat motivated, which makes training and learning new tricks a breeze. I’m fully house-trained. What I Need in My New Home: Opportunities to play and exercise. I’m a fan of durable toys, especially balls and chewsticks. I’ve been part of a work-from-home family, and I enjoy being around my people. I’m trained not to go on the furniture (although I’m sure I’d love it if allowed). A Bit of My Story: I’ve been with my current family for 9 months after being rescued from animal control. After much thought and heartache, they’ve decided that it’s best for me to find another home. They want nothing more than for me to have a loving home where I’ll be cherished, I have so much love to share!
