Reason for Rehoming:
Picked her up as a stray in my neighborhood with the intention of doing a TNR type procedure to help with the kitten population at the suggestion of my mom. She ended up being friendly, so I decided to see if I could help get her adopted rather than release her. I have been fostering her for a couple of months and attempted to get in touch with rescues back home or here in Statesboro where I am located for school for help in placing her, but haven't had much luck. I have been relying on my mom's knowledge of rescue from her work with Ewnity farms dog rescue.
Additional Comments:
Cinder is an absolutely gorgeous kitty who is incredibly well behaved; I have had zero problems out of her in 2 months. She is quiet and travels well, but *extremely* playful at home. She loves to play with string or hunt for hidden treats in particular.
She was a stray, so she is wary of new situations and would need an adjustment period in which she be given plenty of space separate from other animals or abundant activity, but she is very friendly and confident when she becomes comfortable. She is friendly to new people/visitors within the her comfort of her home, however. She has been exposed to dogs and after becoming comfortable is very friendly with them, it is unknown her response to cats.
