Zara is a 1.5-year-old spayed female dog weighing about 50 lbs. She does well with kids and other dogs, while her compatibility with cats is currently unknown.
Zara came from a difficult situation—she was found malnourished with a chain around her neck and was taken in by a kind individual who helped nurse her back to health and get her spayed. Unfortunately, due to work demands, financial strain, and caregiving responsibilities, her current caregiver is no longer able to provide the time and care Zara needs.
They are now hoping to find her a stable, loving home where she can continue to thrive.

She loves going for walks, running, and playing fetch—even if she doesn’t always bring the ball back! She has a playful personality and a lot of love to give.
